Life used to feel busy and I was unsure of my future, dreaming of travel and independence that felt far away. Building this business gave me the confidence to back myself. Now I work on my terms, travel freely, unlimited annual leave and feel so damn happy that travel and earning an income can co exist together!
I watched a free masterclass and realised building income online could change everything. In under a year, I left my full-time reception role and just moved to Canada, with an income that isn’t tied to one place. It’s opened up a life I never thought was possible for me.
My desire wasn’t to leave teaching (my career), but to build something alongside it. To create another stream of income, connect with like-minded people, and build a future with choice. This opportunity has been the thing that’s given me choice with my time, my income, and how I structure my life. And that’s all I ever wanted.
Full-time work alongside studying science didn’t leave much space for my life. This opportunity made it possible to reduce hours, focus more on what I love, and build an income that fits around my studies and values.
The goal was to set myself up early, before starting a family. Instead of waiting until life got busier, my decision was made to start building early. Building this business allowed me to drop back my work hours, create another stream of income, and build something long term. Now I have the peace of mind for m future I’m working toward.
Starting this business alongside full-time employment consulting opened up a completely new path. This year, that role was able to be left behind and life relocated to Bali, building an online income with four-figure days and the flexibility to work from anywhere.
Before this opportunity, I was working four jobs and stuck in a cycle of working just to afford travel, then starting again from scratch. Six months in, this became my full-time income. Now I earn while I travel, build toward bigger goals like property, and know that income and living fully can coexist!
Life in the corporate world meant long hours and constantly feeling pulled away from my family. Building an online income allowed me to step back from that pace and be more present with my kids but without sacrificing earning or ambition.
